What are the rooms like at Amouage?

There are beautiful Ocean rooms with sea views, ensuite bathrooms and the option to either book a room with or without a balcony. Most rooms can be made as double or twin rooms to cater for couples and friends.

If you are a solo traveller you can stay in the Bunk rooms which are grouped by gender and have a shared bathroom. Mountain rooms do not have ocean views and are smaller than the Ocean rooms. Next to the main hotel building, you can stay in the Ocean Garden Room with well-kept grounds with a beautiful terrace and is one of the biggest rooms to choose accommodating up to 3 people.

We stayed in an Ocean Balcony room which has an ensuite bathroom, a comfy double bed, and a small desk area. On arrival, you are provided with a bag that is packed with a beach towel, sarong, water and hand sanitiser.

The room spreads out onto your private balcony with two comfortable seats and a table with a chaise lounge. It’s the ideal place to relax whilst watching the sunset, the balcony is decorated with terracotta pots housing impressive large plants. During our time at Amouage, we watched some of the most beautiful sunsets from this balcony.

can I buy alcohol at amouage?

Taghazout used to be ‘alcohol-free’ but in years, places including Amouage now serve alcoholic drinks onsite at the hotel. The bar serves wine, beers and cocktails from 1 pm every day and is the perfect place to enjoy a tipple and watch the sunset over the ocean.

We’d highly recommend booking into one of the events at Amouage where they serve the most delicious food and the chance to try out one of their cocktails.
